Though designed for strenuous alpine climbing, this lightweight shell jacket is ideal for year-round mountaineering activities including trekking and ski touring. GORE-TEX® PRO fabric, the industry standard for complete windproofness, optimal breathability, and extremely long-lasting waterproofness (28,000mm), is used by Norrona. The core material is a 40D 3-layer GORE-TEX© PRO most breathable fabric with a face made entirely of recycled nylon. Excellent breathability (RET less than 6) is provided by this lightweight yet sturdy PRO grade, which also offers dependable, long-lasting weather protection.
